Yet with the double fridge-freezer, a two-drawer Fisher & Paykel dishwasher and ample storage all hidden from sight, it retains the warmth of a family kitchen. This is epitomised by the homely looking AGA Total Control, with cutting-edge mobile functionality.

THOUGHTFUL DETAILS

An attractive shelf above the AGA retains the feel of living space and, by avoiding corner to corner wall units, we maximised the sense of open-ness. The central island, with tongue & groove back panel, is positioned so the family can enjoy views of the canal while interacting with the chef. A boiling water tap in the large double sink, and bespoke pan and cutlery draws, all add to the everyday convenience.

MATERIALS

Space is further enhanced using a soft Farrow & Ball^® Lamp Room Gray on the maple cabinetry. Darker grey walls enable key features to stand out – the picture rails, Riverwhite granite word surfaces and ceramic wood-effect floor tiles. Tactile oval knobs are made from polished nickel, while the pan and cutlery drawers are crafted from dovetailed solid oak.
