Elegant Village Kitchen
This bespoke new build home in charming Limpley Stoke offered a blank canvas for a spectacularly spacious kitchen. The end result – linking colour themes and furniture, as well as connecting outdoor spaces – gives the home a real sense of place and past, like it has always belonged.
The kitchen abounds with practical thinking, from the Siemens appliances and American-style fridge-freezer to the wealth of storage drawers, pull outs for oils and spices, and a peg board for crockery. The separate utility room enjoys classic features such as the Belfast sink with swan-neck tap and muted mosaic tiling.
Instead of a hanging extractor fan that would be visible from the hallway, we created an attractive bulkhead feature with integrated lighting. Large bifold doors seamlessly link the home to the garden and pizza terrace, while bathing the kitchen in natural light.
Accents of oak in the table, shelves and worktop complement the solid oak floor. Light greys and colonial cream granite add to the warmth, while brushed steel bar handles and taps provide a contemporary feel.
