Dynamic City Kitchen
The owners wanted a contemporary kitchen with real wow factor. Through clean, symmetrical aesthetics and contrasting units embellished with a gorgeous splash of colour, the result is an eye-catching space where every detail makes practical sense.
Maximum practicality, minimum visual clutter: The extractor is hidden in the ceiling, handle-less storage units pull out from the bottom, symmetrical high cupboards house the boiler and larder, and essential appliances and amenities are all neatly tucked away. This efficient design allows for a dining table and separate wet and cooking areas, so there’s space to work or socialise away from culinary mess.
The white tile floor, Corian® work surface and foil doors on the island cabinets are contrasted with the darker units which have a walnut foil. The D-bar handles are made of brushed steel for extra stain resistance from sticky fingers.
We colour-matched the custom-made glass with a favourite spatula, and little details like the linear horizontal handles enhance the precise modern feel. The sink has a moulded waterfall edge to prevent dripping while steel bars for hot pots are incorporated into the work surface.
